Many people collect memorabilia. But usually it's uniforms or handguns. But one German man thought bigger.
Authorities raided the house of a 70 year old man looking for Nazi art treasures. Instead they found a cellar full of arms - including an 88mm flak gun, a tank and a torpedo!
The discovery was no surprise to the local mayor though, "He was chugging around in that thing during the snow catastrophe in 1978,“ he told reporters.
Despite calling in modern recovery vehicles from the army the tank - a 1943-vintage Panther - is still in the house at time of writing.
