Hundreds of students in China have been taking their exam in the woods.
According to Tencent News, 800 students were involved - all second graders from Fengqiu No. 2 Middle School in Xinxiang city, Henan province. The exam room is a 3,000-square-meter woodland near the school campus.
Jia Gongjie, the school's headmaster, told reporters that the woods have been an ideal place for students to read and go for walks due to its cool and refreshing atmosphere. They decided to let students take exams in the woodland as the natural surroundings would help ease the pressure on the students.
Jia also added that it was easier for the invigilators to identify any cheating attempts conducted by examinees as the area is wide open.
Last April, more than 1,700 students sat an exam on a high school track field at a school in Yichuan county, Shaanxi Province.
